POV kya Hai ? Understanding POV (Point of View) in Storytelling

POV ka sabse simple definition yeh hota hai ki kahani kis perspective se batayi jaa rahi hai. Yeh first person mein ho sakta hai, jisme narrator kahani ke ek character hai aur directly reader se baat karta hai, ya phir third person mein ho sakta hai, jisme narrator kahani ke characters ke baare mein baat karta hai aur ek outsider observer ki tarah kaam karta hai.

First person POV ko memoirs, autobiographies aur kai novels aur short stories mein use kiya jaata hai. Isse reader ko narrator ke through kahani ka experience hota hai, jo reader aur character ke beech ek personal connection create karta hai. Lekin ismein kuch limitations bhi hai, kyunki reader sirf woh events experience kar sakta hai, jisme narrator present hai.

Third person POV, ek wider view of the story provide karne mein help karta hai, kyunki narrator multiple characters aur locations mein events ko observe kar sakta hai. Isse ek objective tone create hoti hai, kyunki narrator kahani ka ek character nahi hota aur isliye wo events ke baare mein impartial view provide kar sakta hai. Lekin isse reader aur characters ke beech ek sense of distance bhi create ho sakta hai.

In dono categories mein, POV ke further subdivisions bhi hote hai. For example, first person POV subjective ya objective ho sakta hai. Subjective first person POV mein narrator ki personal stake hoti hai aur wo emotionally involved hota hai events mein. Objective first person POV mein narrator more detached hota hai aur events ke baare mein factual account provide karta hai.

Similarly, third person POV limited ya omniscient ho sakta hai. Limited third person POV mein narrator ke pass sirf ek character ke thoughts aur feelings ki knowledge hoti hai, jabki omniscient third person POV mein narrator multiple characters ke thoughts aur feelings ke baare mein aware hota hai.

POV ka choice kahani ko batane wali impact bahut bada hota hai. For example, ek kahani jisme narrator ek child hai, uski first person POV ka tone aur mood ek kahani jisme narrator ek adult hai, third person POV ka tone aur mood se bahut different hoga. Similarly, detective ki objective first person POV se batayi gayi kahani aur victim ki subjective first person POV se batayi gayi kahani mein tone aur mood ka difference hoga.

In addition to creating tone and mood, POV suspense aur surprise create karne mein bhi use kiya jaa sakta hai. Narrator ki knowledge ko reader ke knowledge se limit karke, writer tension aur anticipation ka sense create kar sakta hai. Omniscient narrator ka use karke writer reader ko information provide kar sakta hai, jo characters ke baare mein nahi pata hota, aur isse surprise aur revelation ka sense create hota hai.

In conclusion, POV ek essential tool hai writers ke liye, jisse wo tone aur mood create kar sakte hai, readers ko engage kar sakte hai, aur suspense aur surprise create kar s
