Step 1: Application Category decide karein

PAN card ke liye apply karne ka pehla kadam ye hai ki application category decide karein. PAN card application ke do categories hai - individual aur non-individual. Individual PAN card ek individual ke liye issue kiya jata hai jabki non-individual PAN card businesses, entities aur organizations ke liye issue kiya jata hai.

Agla kadam application form bharna hai. Form official website of the Income Tax Department se download kiya ja sakta hai ya authorized PAN service providers se bhi mil sakta hai. Form me do sections hai - ek individual applicants ke liye aur dusra non-individual applicants ke liye.

Form me basic information jaise naam, birth date aur address ke sath sath applicant ki identity aur address proof ki details bhi mangi jati hai. Identity proof passport, Aadhaar card, driving license, voter ID jaise documents se diya ja sakta hai. Address proof utility bill, bank statement ya rent agreement jaise documents se diya ja sakta hai.

Step 3: Application Fee bharein

Individual PAN card ke liye application fee Rs. 110 hai, jabki non-individual PAN card ke liye fee entity ke type ke basis par vary karti hai. Fee online ya offline pay kiya ja sakta hai. Online payment net banking, credit card ya debit card se kiya ja sakta hai. Offline payment demand draft ya authorized PAN service providers par cash dekar kiya ja sakta hai.

Step 4: Application Form submit karein

Application form bharte hi, agla kadam form ko submit karna hai. Form online ya offline dono tarike se submit kiya ja sakta hai. Online submission official website of the Income Tax Department ke through kiya ja sakta hai. Offline submission authorized PAN service providers ko visit karke ya nearest NSDL or UTIITSL office ko post ke through bhejkar kiya ja sakta hai.

Step 5: Application ka Status track karein

Application form submit karne ke bad, applicant 15-digit acknowledgement number ka use karke application ka status track kar sakta hai. Status official website of the Income Tax Department ke through online track kiya ja sakta hai ya PAN service provider ko call karke bhi pata kiya ja sakta hai.

Step 6: PAN Card receive karein

Application process aur approval ke bad, PAN card form me mention kiye gaye address par bheja jata hai. PAN card usually 15-20 working days me deliver hota hai.
